Monalisa graduated from OmDayal College of Architecture, in 2024. She had previously done her internship from Salient Design Studio for six months in 2023. For her dissertation, titled ‘Automobile Research Institute’, she explored adaptable educational spaces with state-of-art labs and workshop spaces that foster innovation, collaboration and technological advancement. Her thesis involved research on centers of excellence, innovation centers, test tracks and research valleys - all related to the automotive industry.
Monalisa joined ‘Open to Sky’ in November, 2024. Through her work, she is driven to create spaces that inspire and uplift, combining art and architecture to create unique spaces. She is enthusiastic about exploring post-modern architecture’s playful and eclectic vibe and its departure from traditional norms.
Monalisa enjoys playing the piano, art journaling and working on oil paintings in her leisure time.
